Students who want to take this course should have already took and passed the course "Mandarin Basic 3", or at least have the Chinese language ability of TOCFL Level 2/ HSK 4. After the semester, the students should acquire the ability: 1. to describe the encounter during a trip. Including the features of a city or activities. 2. to introduce the food culture of one's own country. Describing the cooking process of one dish. 3. to explain one's own Interest and learning experience. 4. to explain and to compare the pros and cons of modern technology. 5. to express one's future plan, such as looking for a job or advanced studies. 6. to introduce a festival. Comparing the differences between the New Years Festival in Taiwan and one's own country.
